Tanzid Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mahumudullah scored a half-century each and Jaker Ali contributed 48 runs to take Bangladesh to 294/6 in 50 overs. Romario Shepherd took three wickets for the West Indies and Jayden Seales picked up a couple of scalps.
In reply, West Indies' top three faltered and the trio was gone before the team could reach 100. Shai Hope was then joined by the in-form Sherfane Rutherford and the duo stitched a match-winning partnership. Rutherford hit 113 off just 80 balls and Hope played second fiddle scoring 86 from 88 balls. Justin Greaves chipped in with a quick 41 to guide West Indies to a victory and help the hosts take 1-0 lead.
