The Windies had taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series with a four-wicket victory in the opener, but the series is now level at 1-1.
In the first match of the tour, the home team had chased down a rain-adjusted target of 180 runs in 32 overs, getting there with four wickets to spare. Player of the Match Qiana Joseph had struck 60 off 58 balls to shepherd the chase, while Karishma Ramharack and Aaliyah Alleyne had bagged two wickets apiece to help limit the Proteas to 232 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs.

Half-centuries from Sune Luus (76 off 65 balls) and Nondumiso Shangase (55 off 48) helped South Africa post a challenging 309-run total on the board in their allotted 50 overs. Afy Fletcher (4/64) snared four wickets for the hosts.
