From selling paani puri to playing for India, Yashasvi Jaiswal's has been a fairytale in Indian cricket. And now the IPL star has notched one more important milestone. The 21-year-old has been picked for the Indian Test side for the West Indies tour in July.
Jaiswal, who was shifted from Bhadohi in UP to Mumbai to take a shot at a cricket career by his father, was overcome with emotion. For all the riches of the IPL, the honour of being selected for the country is something else.
"My father started crying (when he got to know). I have not yet met my mother; I am going to see her in some time. I was out from the morning, had a practice session as well as some other work,바카라 Jaiswal told PTI. He said that he intended to go to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore to prepare for the tour.
Jaiswal displayed tremendous form in the IPL this year, as well as on the domestic circuit. The left-hander was among the reserve players for the World Test Championship final earlier this month. It was a matter of time before he was picked in the side.
"I was a little nervous, till the time you do not get to know that your name is there in the team, there are butterflies," he said.
"My preparations have been going good and I got to interact a lot with the senior players. The conversation has been very simple 바카라 to focus on my work. I learned from them that in the end 바카라it is all about you, how you take it going forward바카라,바카라 said Jaiswal.
바카라I am feeling good, I will try to do my best,바카라 Jaiswal said. "I am excited, but at the same time I just want to go out and express myself."
