Rayan Cherki has earned his maiden call-up to the France senior squad for the Nations League Finals. (More Football News)
France face Spain in the semi-finals in Stuttgart on 5 June, with Germany or Portugal then awaiting in either the final or a third-placed play-off three days later.
Cherki was part of the 25-man squad named by Didier Deschamps on Wednesday after impressing for Lyon.
The 21-year-old scored 12 goals and assisted 19 in 42 Ligue 1 and Europa League games combined for Les Gones this campaign.
Arsenal defender William Saliba is a big-name absentee for France due to injury, while Dayot Upamecano, Jules Kounde and Eduardo Camavinga also miss out.
With Wesley Fofana also not included, Juventus' Pierre Kalulu is another selected by Deschamps for the first time.
Malo Gusto, Clement Lenglet and Loic Bade are also recalled.
An extended squad has been named with the Champions League final on 31 May in mind, with seven France players set to be involved in that match.
However, Deschamps is not concerned about the quick turnaround in games for those competing in the showpiece in Munich.
"I don't need to motivate them," he told reporters. "Spain are certainly the best European team, if not the best in the world.
"Barca aren바카라™t in the Champions League final, so [Spain will]Â probably be fresher. Of course, there's Lamine Yamal, who does extraordinary things.Â
"But he's not the only one we need to keep an eye on. We know very well that we바카라™re up against one of the best teams, if not the very best."
