India return to the pitch against Australia in the FIH Pro League 2024-25 on Sunday, 15 June, at the Sportcentrum Wilrijkse Plein in Antwerp, Belgium. The Men in Blue will hope to end a dismal run of five consecutive defeats on their European tour, losing 3-2 against the Kookaburras on 14 June.

In their latest setback, India squandered a 2-0 lead as Australia sealed the win with a late strike from Tom Craig. Abhishek scored a brace to give India the early advantage, and Suraj Karkera was solid between the sticks, keeping the contest in India바카라�s favour for long spells.

However, the Australians mounted an improbable comeback in the second half. The youthful Australian side, with half of the squad boasting less than 25 international caps, equalised through Nathan Ephraums in the 42nd minute.

Joel Rintala equalised in the 56th minute, while Tom Craig capped off the comeback with a deft deflection in the dying seconds. The loss has seen India drop down to fifth place in the table, trailing league leaders Netherlands by 11 points with five games left to play.

Coach Craig Fulton will desperately hope his side can finally convert their early dominance into a result, especially if captain Harmanpreet Singh remains unavailable due to injury.
