EFL Cup Final: Newcastle United Trump Liverpool 2-1 To End 70-Year Trophy Drought  

After a 70-year drought, the wait finally ended for Newcastle United. The Saudi-backed club beat Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday (March 16) to lift the EFL Cup. Dan Burn and Alexander Isak scored either side of half-time to seal victory at Wembley.
