Stockholm Diamond League Highlights: Armand Duplantis Breaks World Record For 12th Time With 6.28m; Femke Bol Notches Up 27th Win

Meanwhile, Armand Duplantis dominated the men바카라™s pole vault, as is his wont, winning with a new meet record of 6.15 metres. And Olympic champion Julien Alfred made her anticipated 100m season debut in style, cruising to victory in a time of 10.89 seconds.

While we wait for the Stockholm leg events of Diamond League to get underway, here's some big news from an Indian perspective. The next Diamond League meet on the calendar is in Paris on June 20, and Neeraj Chopra's name is on the list of competitors.

The  superstar Indian javelin thrower will be eyeing his first major title of the season after finishing second in back-to-back events. He returns to the Paris Diamond League after eight years.

The men's pole vault final, featuring the legendary Mondo Duplantis, and women's high jump final are currently running. In the high jump discipline, five athletes have crossed the 1.88m mark and they will now be going for 1.91 metres.

The bar has been raised to 1.93m in the women's high jump, and Poland's Maria Zodzik is dominant right now with five first-time clearances. Mahuchikh, meanwhile clears 1.91m at the first attempt and passes at 1.93m.

Femke Bol improves her own 400m hurdles meeting record. The Dutchwoman staves off Dalilah Muhammad's challenge to clock 52.11 seconds and notch up her 27th Diamond League victory.

The freak of nature delivers yet again. Armand Mondo Duplantis has broken the world record for the 12th time in his already legendary career, and breached the 6.28m mark in first attempt. The previous world best was 6.27m, of course by Duplantis himself.

Nobody else in the eight-member men's pole vault field has even touched 6 metres, which again goes to show how other-worldly and invincible an athlete Duplantis is.

Emmanuel Wanyonyi has produced a world-leading time of 1:41.95 in the men's 800m final. The Kenyan star surges well ahead of Djamel Sedjati to win with ease and narrowly fall short of Wilson Kipketer's meeting record of 1:41.73.

100m Olympic gold medallist Julien Alfred has set a meeting record of 10.75 to earn her second victory in four days. The St. Lucian trailblazers zooms ahead from Dina Asher-Smith to shine once again at the global stage.

A three-way battle ensues between Rai Benjamin, Karsten Warholm and Alison Dos Santos, the three fastest men in history in the 400m hurdles. And it's Benjamin who comes up trumps, clocking a meeting record of 46.54 seconds.
