Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of a nuclear power project being set up in the state, stating that the Union government has no such proposal and that Goa바카라™s focus remains on clean and renewable energy sources.

"Goa is a small state, and the BJP government will never bring a nuclear power project here," Sawant said, responding to recent speculation following a statement by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. "The minister merely spoke about exploring different alternatives for power generation."

Sawant clarified that the state government is actively working on expanding its renewable energy portfolio. "We have already started solar power generation, and a tender has been floated for wind energy as well," he added.
