Janhvi Kapoor last featured in survival thriller 바카라Mili바카라 (2022). Since then, there have been speculations that she is all set to make her Tamil cinema debut, and has been approached to star opposite Arya in 바카라Paiyaa 2바카라, which will be directed by N Linguswamy.
However, her father and producer, Boney Kapoor, on Friday put to rest rumours surrounding Janhvi바카라s Tamil debut and requested everyone to not spread 'false rumours' about Janhvi's Tamil debut. Boney Kapoor tweeted, 바카라Dear media friends. This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumours."
On the other hand, there have also been rumours that the actress is all set to make her Telugu cinema debut opposite actor Jr NTR in a yet-untitled project by filmmaker Koratala Siva. The film, which marks Jr NTR바카라s reunion with Siva after 바카라Janatha Garage바카라, has reportedly been signed by Janhvi. Albeit, the actress or the makers are yet to make an official announcement. Earlier, there were rumours that Janhvi would star in Telugu film 바카라Liger바카라 (2022) opposite Vijay Deverakonda. But Puri Jagannadh바카라s pan-Indian film eventually went to Ananya Panday.
Coming to Janhvi, she herself has time and again expressed her wish to act opposite Telugu actors. In a 2022 interview with The Hindu, she had said: 바카라NTR Jr, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, I바카라d like to work with all of them. They are so talented and the kind of movies that come out from the Telugu industry are huge. One of my all-time favourite Telugu movies is Bommarillu featuring Genelia and Sidharth.
