Shekhar Kapur, whose latest release 'What바카라s Love Got To Do With It?' has been nominated in various categories at the National Film Awards UK, spoke about the sequel of his 1983 directorial debut movie Masoom, which is titled Masoom바카라 The New Generation.
In an interview with Variety, Shekhar said that the new film is about the 바카라idea of home바카라 and adds that the movie will revolve around an old couple, their crumbling house and their experience with a 바카라generational change바카라.
바카라One of the big things that has been happening is that kids have been moving away 바카라 from small towns to Mumbai, Mumbai to the west. They go out for their education and don바카라t go back, and every time I바카라ve talked to them there is this little thing that bothers them, a guilt that never goes away, a feeling that 바카라I left my parents." said the acclaimed filmmaker.
He added, 바카라When you talk to people about home, the first thing they say is that it is property, it is real estate and the second thing they say is 바카라What바카라s it worth?바카라 The real estate value of your house becomes much more important than what the essential idea for a home is. And home is, what is it? It is memories 바카라 people growing up, the walls have memories, the sofa where you sit down is a memory. Everything is a memory. So I바카라m taking that fundamental idea of what is home.바카라
Masoom was written by veteran writer and lyricist Gulzar. It was an adaptation of Erich Segal바카라s 1980 novel Man, Woman and Child. The film talked about a happily married couple whose lives get disrupted after the man바카라s illegitimate son arrives at their home.
