Reports claimed that the 73-year-old actor had been diagnosed with cancer and had taken a break from his filming commitments for treatment. Now, the actor's PR team has dismissed all the rumours and confirmed that he is in good health. The team clarified that Mammootty had stepped away from his tight schedule only due to Ramadan.

Reacting to the cancer reports of Mammootty, his team told Mid-Day that it is ''fake news'' and added, ''He is on vacation because he is fasting for Ramzan. He is on a break from his shoot schedule as well because of that. In fact, after the break he will go back to shooting for Mahesh Narayanan바카라s film with Mohanlal.바카라
Mammootty's work front
On the professional front, Mammootty was last seen in Gautham Vasudev Menon바카라s investigative comedy film, Dominic and the Ladies바카라 Purse. His next is Bazooka, which is releasing on April 10. The film also stars Iswarya Menon, Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, and Gayathri Iyer.
He will also share the screen with Mohanlal after a gap of 16 years since Twenty:20 (2008). Tentatively titled MMMN, the film is directed by Mahesh Narayanan. It also stars Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban.
