Suriya starrer Retro is all set to make its OTT debut, three weeks after its theatrical release. The Karthik Subbaraj's romantic action drama, also starring Pooja Hegde, released in theatres on May 1, 2025. Here's when and where you can watch Retro on OTT.
Retro OTT release date
On Monday, Netflix announced the film will stream on its OTT platform and also revealed Retro's OTT release date. Audience can stream the film on Netflix from May 31.
The streaming platform shared a poster of Retro featuring Suriya, and wrote, "A sacred spear. A secret identity. A saga for the ages. (Fire emoji). Watch Retro, out 31 May, on Netflix in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam."
About Retro
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro revolves around a gangster (Suriya) who swears to give up on violence and leave his past behind but has to break the vow to defeat his enemies and protect his estranged wife (Pooja Hegde).
The film also stars Joju George, Nassar, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Karunakaran, Sujith Shankar, and Prem Kumar, among others in key roles. Music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Suriya and Jyotika's 2D Entertainment and Subbaraj's Stone Bench Creations have bankrolled the film.

As per Sacnilk, Retro collected Rs 60.26 crore nett in India, and the gross collection was Rs 70.97 crore. It made a gross collection of Rs 96.97 crore worldwide.
