Mani Ratnam's Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR (Simbu), is one of the most-awaited films of this year. The trailer for Thug Life, was unveiled today, in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi at a grand event in Chennai. The film marks the reunion of Ratnam and Haasan, after nearly four decades. 1987 film Nayakan was their last collaboration.
Thug Life has been co-written by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam.
The 2-minute long trailer of Thug Life begins with Kamal Haasan바카라s voiceover, saying, 바카라You saved my life, you protected me from the Lord of Death. Our two destinies were written as one. You and I are now bound together as one. Till the end.바카라
Then STR's character is introduced as Kamal바카라s voiceover continues in the background. He says, 바카라If I am a lion, you바카라re the king of the pride.바카라 STR then says, 바카라Majestic lion.바카라 Kamal replies, 바카라Yes, your Majesty" and announces STR as his successor.
Kamal and Silambarasan share a very profound relationship, but soon it takes a different turn- both are seen in contrast sides- standing against each other.

Apart from Kamal and Simbu, the film also stars Trisha, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhirami, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, and Vaiyapuri in significant roles.
It has been jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, with cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
Thug Life will release worldwide on June 5, 2025.
