Chiyaan Vikram starrer Tamil film Veera Dheera Sooran was supposed to release today, March 27, with Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran바카라™s L2: Empuraan. But unfortunately, Veera Dheera Sooran faced a legal hurdle, which led to the cancellation of its USA premiere and early morning shows.
Why is Veera Dheeran Sooran's release stalled?
As per a report in Times Now, PVR and Cinepolis will not screen Veera Dheera Sooran before 10 am. Reportedly, the shows for the Vikram starrer may begin after 11 am. The first show was scheduled for 9 am.
The delay is said to be due to a legal dispute with Mumbai-based production company B4U, which has filed a plea in the Delhi High Court, against the film바카라™s producer, alleging a breach of contract over OTT rights.
They claim the rights of the film were supposed to be sold before its theatrical release. Responding to this, the Delhi High Court issued an interim stay until 10:30 am.
A report in 123Telugu claims that the USA premiere shows of the film have also been canceled. Producer Riya Shibu, who is in Delhi, is trying to solve the legal issues.
About Veera Dheera Sooran
The thriller revolves around the story of a store owner Kaali (Vikram), who is a loving and caring husband and father. He gets into a dangerous crime network for some mysterious mission.
The runtime of the film is 162 minutes.
