The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said Saturday바카라™s bomb explosion near a reproductive health facility in United States바카라™ Palm Springs, California was an "intentional act of terrorism".
The blast killed at least one person and injured four.
The person who was killed was near a vehicle that blew up into pieces outside the clinic, operated by American Reproductive Centers. Other buildings near the clinic were also damaged, some extensively.
The authorities are not searching for a suspect as they already have a person of interest in the investigation, Akil Davis, assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles field office, told reporters, as per Reuters.
It is not known whether the bomb was near or inside the car that was parked outside the clinic, but was detonated before 11 AM on Saturday local time, said Mayor Ron deHarte of Palm Springs.
"Make no mistake, this is an intentional act of terrorism," Reuters quoted Davis, also saying that the FBI is yet to find out whether it was "international terrorism or a domestic terrorism."
The online video showed the single-story building in which the clinic is situated, where the explosion left a huge hole in one of its walls and caused damage to the structure of the building.
The clinic's laboratory, where the eggs, embryos and reproductive materials were kept, remains safe, Reuters reported. The staff members are also safe. The clinic will be functioning Monday.
The Governor of California Gavin Newsom was briefed on the explosion.
