Trump-Musk Fallout: Prez 'Not Particularly' Interested In Talking To Musk; Calls Him A Man 'Who Lost His Mind'

Initially, talks of a possible phone call between Donald Trump and Elon Musk surfaced to straighten things out between the two. However, Trump rejected the idea, saying that he was "not particularly" interested in talking to him.

Within a day after the fallout between US President Donald Trump and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, Trump reportedly dismissed the idea of reconciling with Musk, telling ABC News he was 'not particularly interested in speaking to him'.

Amid the widening rift between the power duo over the 'Big Beautiful Bill', a day before, Musk posted on X, "Time to drop the really big bomb: is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!"

Initially, talks of a possible phone call between the two surfaced to straighten things out. However, Trump rejected the idea, saying, 바카라œYou mean the man who has lost his mind?바카라, adding that he was "not particularly" interested in talking to him.

While the president showed reluctance in meeting the Tesla CEO, Musk had hinted at reconciliation. Responding to Bill Ackman바카라™s call for the two to 바카라œMake Peace for the benefit of our great country,바카라 Musk replied on X, 바카라œYou바카라™re not wrong.바카라

However, by that time, the damage was done. While Musk's business empire reportedly lost a valuation of over 150 billion US dollars, Trump faced allegations that could risk his position as the president.

Tensions had been mounting between the two powerhouses of the United States after Musk publicly denounced Trump바카라™s sweeping tax-cut and spending bill and stepped down as head of the DOGE at the end of his tenure.

The Trump-Musk bromance recently faced a glitch on May 29 as Musk announced his departure from the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the end of his specified tenure after months of spearheading the department's endeavours to curtail and streamline federal spending.

Musk's announcement of departure notably came just a day after his first-ever-criticism of Trump during a CBS interview, where he said the President's signature "big, beautiful" spending bill increases the budget deficit and undermines the DOGE team's work. "A bill can be big, or it can be beautiful. But I don't know if it can be both. My personal opinion," Musk said.

Taking it to X, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO posted, 바카라œAs my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending. The @DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government.바카라

The term 'scheduled' finds meaning here as the White House earlier classified him as a "special government employee," with the title of a senior adviser to the president and allowed him to stay on the job for 130 calendar days a year, which technically ended in May.
