The Israeli military on Tuesday asserted that it intercepted a missile launched by the Houthi rebels in Yemen. The hypersonic ballistic missile triggered sirens in central Israel, Jerusalem and nearby areas.

The missile marks a third strike conducted by the Iran-backed group in the past two days. According to the group바카라s military spokesperson Yahya Saree, the missile was directed towards the Ben Gurion airport that is located near Tel Aviv, as reported by Reuters.
The missile attacks were followed by Israel바카라s retaliation hitting Houthi infrastructure. Israel had conducted the attack in response to the military group바카라s offensive on Ben Gurion airport earlier.
United States President Donald Trump had previously agreed to halt its bombing on the Houthis as they agreed to stop attacking the US ships.
