The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked the director of a Bengali movie "Chirodiner Ek Onnyo Premer Galpo" to mute the word 'Musalman'.

The movie, directed by Ranjan Chowdhury, is based on the relationship between a Hindu and a Muslim. In total, eight modifications have been asked by the CBFC to be made, out of which four are for the word 바카라˜Musalman바카라™, reported .

According to the CBFC directive, the word has to be 바카라œmuted in the duration mentioned바카라 as it leads to violation of the guideline on 바카라œvisuals or words contemptuous of racial, religious or other groups."

"There's no reason to mute it," said the director of the film 'Chirodiner Ek Onnyo Premer Galpo'.

"I don't know why it's being done. When I asked them, I was told 'we aren't answerable to you'. I'll go to the revising committee," filmmaker R Chowdhury told ANI.
