Gujarat: Four Workers Killed In Toxic Gas Leak From Chemical Plant In Dahej

Four workers tragically lost their lives after inhaling toxic gas at a chemical plant in Dahej, located in Bharuch district, Gujarat, on Saturday night, according to local police.

The fatal incident occurred around 10:00 pm at the Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL) facility. The workers were exposed to hazardous fumes that leaked from a pipe in the production unit of the company바카라™s CMS plant, causing them to lose consciousness. Dahej police station inspector, BM Patidar, confirmed that the workers were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Bharuch for treatment.

Three of the workers succumbed to the effects of the gas at approximately 3:00 AM on Sunday, while the fourth worker passed away at around 6:00 AM, an official told PTI. The victims, whose identities have not yet been disclosed, were reportedly exposed to the poisonous gas after it leaked from a pipe located on the ground floor of the production unit.

The bodies of the workers were sent for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death. An official investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited has not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
