Reacting to the recent civilian killings in Kashmir, Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik has said that when he was the governor of Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists didn바카라™t dare enter within a radius of 50 kilometres of Srinagar.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of an event in Rajasthan바카라™s Jhunjhunu district, Satya Pal Malik said, 바카라œDuring my tenure as the governor of Jammu and Kashmir, there was no stone pelting and nobody was dying. Terrorists didn바카라™t dare to enter within a radius of 50 kilometres of Srinagar. Now they are openly killing inside the city, which is extremely painful바카라.

Malik was the governor of Jammu and Kashmir from August 2018 to October 2019. During his tenure, the abrogation of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, was passed by the Centre in August 2019. From November 2019 to August 18, 2020, he served as governor of Goa and took oath as the governor of Meghalaya on August 20, 2020.

Speaking on the farmers바카라™ issues, Malik urged the BJP government to meet the demands of the protesting farmers. 바카라œBJP leaders can바카라™t enter the villages in the poll-bound Uttar Pradesh if the demands of farmers are not met. It will be difficult for this government to return to power,바카라 he said.

Malik further added that if the government asks him, he is willing to mediate between the Centre and the farmers. 바카라œFarmers should have the guarantee of minimum support price. They won바카라™t settle for anything less than that. If the government can guarantee MSP, I can convince farmers on the three laws바카라, added Malik.
