India Wants Partners, Not Preachers, Says Jaishankar On Ties With Europe and Russia

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, speaking on May 4, 2025, stressed that India seeks meaningful partnerships based on shared interests, not lectures from other nations 바카라 a pointed message aimed at Europe amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

At the Arctic Circle India Forum, Jaishankar explained India바카라s position of 바카라Russia realism,바카라 highlighting the strong fit between Russia바카라s role as a resource supplier and India바카라s needs as a major consumer. He defended India바카라s engagement with Moscow, including continued purchases of Russian oil, saying these decisions are guided by national interests despite Western criticism.

On Europe, Jaishankar noted that some countries are undergoing a 바카라reality check바카라 but need to move past preaching and instead foster partnerships built on sensitivity, understanding, and mutual respect.
