India-Pakistan Tension

Tensions escalated between India and Pakistan after the April 22 Pulwama terror attack responding to which, on May 7, India launched 'Operation Sindoor', targeting seven terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

All subsequent retaliations to Pakistani offensives were carried out under 'Operation Sindoor'.

After four days of border hostilities, India and Pakistan on May 10 announced reaching an understanding to stop all firings and military actions on land, air and sea, with effect from 5 pm that day.
