Maharashtra Finance Minister Ajit Pawar presented the state's budget for 2025-26 on March 10. Pawar, while iterating that the state is the financial powerhouse of the country, announced important measures and promises.
Pawar said that the state will spend Rs 36,000 crore towards the Ladki Behen Scheme. 바카라The government has allocated Rs 36,000 crore for the Ladki Bahin scheme. It is believed that the scheme helped the Mahayuti to form the government in the state,바카라 Pawar said.
The allocation marks a reduction from the previously projected amount of Rs 46,000 crore.

The state will celebrate the Marathi Bhasha Sanman Din on October 3 every year, said Pawar.
Infra Projects
The Shirdi airport in the pilgrimage town will soon have night landing facility. In addition, domestic flights from Navi Mumbai International Airport from April 2025, Pawar said.
A metro line will be developed between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport with Navi Mumbai International Airport in Mumbai, Pawar said.

Beginning his address, Pawar said that Maharashtra is number one in foreign direct investment and in Davos, the state signed MoUs with 56 companies worth Rs 15.72 lakh crore, which will employ 16 lakh people.

In the financial year 2024-25, agriculture and allied activities, industry and services sectors are expected to grow at 8.7%, 4.9%, and 7.8%, respectively, it said.
Mumbai Metropolitan Region is being developed as a growth hub. It will have a US $1.5 trillion economy by 2047, Pawar said.
