Civil defence mock drills are set to take place on Saturday across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Jammu & Kashmir under "Operation Shield" to evaluate alertness at the border region amid Indo-Pak tensions.

Initially scheduled for May 29, Thursday, the exercise deferred due to administrative reasons.
