Gambhir flew back on November 26, the scheduled fifth day of the Perth Test.
India won the 50-over contest against Prime Minister바카라s XI with six wickets in hand and 19 balls to spare, with Yashasvi Jaiswal (45), Shubman Gill (50), Nitish Kumar Reddy (42), and Washington Sundar (42*) all making runs.
In the bowling department, Harshit Rana was the pick of the bowlers, bagging four wickets, while Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Washington Sundar, and Ravindra Jadeja got on the wicket column.
The second Test between India and Australia will be a day-night affair, and will get underway from December 6, at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
