The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the India 'A' squad for their upcoming tour of England, set to begin on May 30, 2025.
India A바카라s tour of England features two first-class matches against the England Lions, scheduled in Canterbury and Northampton, and will conclude with a fixture against the senior India team.
Batting talent Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead India-A team in their shadow tour of England this summer. The Indian team will play two First-Class matches against the England Lions. The tour serves as a precursor to the high-stakes India vs England series.
According to a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) release, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan will join the squad ahead of the second match, to be played at Canterbury. The tour kicks off with the Northampton match.
India will play a five-test match series against England for the Pataudi Trophy starting June 20 at Headingley, Leeds. Part of the new ICC World Test Championship cycle, the series will see matches in Edgbaston, Birmingham (from July 2), Lord's, London (from July 10), Old Trafford, Manchester (from July 23), and Kennington Oval, London (from July 31).
India finished third in the ICC World Test Championship 2023바카라2025, behind finalists South Africa and Australia. India, the runners-up in the first two editions, finished the cycle with 50.00 PCT with nine wins in 19 outings; England, meanwhile, were fifth with 43.18 PCT (11 wins in 22).
India are expected to play at least 18 matches during the 2025-2027 WTC cycle, but the England tour is one of the two series to feature five matches. India will host Australia in a five-match series.
