Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is entering the season-end and today we will have the first team that will wrap up its season.

Digvesh Rathi suspended
After a heated spat with Abhishek Sharma on Monday night, Lucknow Super Giants spinner Digvesh Rathi has been suspended for the next match. Rathi has accumulated five demerit points and thus will miss LSG's next game against table-toppers Gujarat Titans.
Sharma too has been fined 25% of match fees for the altercation.
MI start play-offs preparations
Even though MI's qualification for the top four is not confirmed, the Hardik Pandya-led side has already started preparations. MI have signed Jonny Bairstow, Richard Gleeson and Charith Asalanka for Will Jacks, Corbin Bosch and Ryan Rickelton who are leaving for national duty after the league stage.
PBKS get overseas boost
Kyle Jamieson, the replacement for Lockie Ferguson in Punjab Kings, has arrived in India and will join the team. The Australian trio of Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis and Aaron Hardie too are set to join the team on Tuesday. So, all four will be available for selection in PBKS next game against Delhi Capitals which takes place Saturday.
Pant rues injuries
"Definitely it could have been one of our best seasons, but coming into the tournament, we had a lot of gaps, injuries and as a team we decided to not talk about that, but it became difficult to fill those gaps for us," Rishabh Pant said after LSG were knocked out of the tournament.
"The way we planned the auction, if we had had the same bowling... but this is cricket, sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don't, we take pride in the way we played and take the positives from the season rather than the negative side."

Today in IPL 2025
Rajasthan Royals will play Chennai Super Kings in a battle where the loser will most likely be destined to the last spot. CSK have never come last in IPL while RR also has only one year of last-place finish. Both teams would try to give their best to avoid the wooden spoon.
