The International cricket scene is heating up with the ICC World Test Championship Final between Australia and South Africa set to kick off from June 11. India and England are also set to clash in a five-Test series later this month. While international cricket is about to be back in the headlines, Indian domestic scene is brimming with T20 leagues.
As many as six regional T20 leagues are going on concurrently with half of these competitions underway only in the state of Maharashtra.
The success of the Indian Premier League over the years has meant that state associations have started their own T20 leagues with top players from their region featuring. These leagues also act as a feeder tournament for the IPL and a lot of players from these competitions find contract in the IPL.
Below is a list of all the domestic state association-sanctioned men's T20 leagues going on right now in India.
T20 Mumbai League 2025
The most high-profile of such leagues is the T20 Mumbai League 2025 which is resuming after a hiatus of six years. India regulars like Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube are playing in the tournament. Eight teams are participating in the event where a total of 23 matches will be played.
Tamil Nadu Premier League 2025
Another big state competition going on currently is the Tamil Nadu Premier League. The TNPL, in the past, has produced stars like T Natarajan who has been a regular in the IPL and has also played for India. A total of 32 matches will take place in the competition with eight teams participating in it.
Maharashtra Premier League 2025
The second tournament going in Maharashtra is the Maharashtra Premier League where eight teams are clashing against each other. The 34-match tournament started June 4 and will go on till June 22.
Vidarbha Pro T20 League 2025
Another league going on in Maharashtra is the Vidarbha Pro T20 League where Jitesh Sharma, who just won the IPL 2025 with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, is the start attraction. The tournament is going on in Nagpur, from June 5 to 15.
Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League 2025
Shashank Singh, who played a big part in Punjab Kings' run to the IPL 2025 final, headlining the Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League which is going on in Raipur. Six teams are vying for the trophy with the tournament set to end June 15.
