Mohun Bagan posted on social media late Thursday night, standing up with their fans after videos of them getting beaten up went viral. (Highlights | More Football News)

The Mariners lost the away leg of their ISL Cup semifinal against Jamshedpur FC in a thrilling contest on Thursday night. However, after the match videos of Mohun Bagan supporters getting beaten up went viral. Some fans also got badly injured in the process.

As per media reports, security personnel at the stadium resorted to violence to contain the fan hooliganism at the ground and that led to the scenario.

Mohun Bagan condemned the incident and stood in solidarity with their fans.

바카라œWe at Mohun Bagan Super Giant strongly condemns the misbehavior and aggression of the security and management staff of the away stand of JRD Tata Sports Complex,바카라 wrote the ISL League Shield winners in their social media post.

"We must all remember. Football is nothing without fans," the club added.

Multiple Mohun Bagan fan clubs also came out on social media in support of their club with demands of strong action against security personnel being raised.

Earlier in the game, Both teams were locked at 1-1 for a long time before Jamshedpur FC found an injury time goal to walk away with a 2-1 advantage in the first leg.

It was Javi Siverio (24th) who gave the edge to Jamshedpur but Jason Cummings (37th) produced the equaliser before HernĂĄndez (90+1바카라™) took the hosts home.

The two sides will next play in the second leg of their semi-final fixture in Kolkata on April 7.
