Hardy took over as Utah바카라s head coach after Quin Snyder resigned in June 2022 and has gone 85-161 in three seasons without reaching the play-offs.
The Jazz won 37 and 31 games in their first two seasons under Hardy, respectively, before going a franchise- and NBA-worst 17-65 in 2024-25.

Hardy began his NBA coaching career as an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015 before moving on and spending one season with the Boston Celtics in 2021-22.
