The first pass of a quarterback being incomplete

Illinois Gaming Board Administrator Marcus Fruchter had enacted the ban in October 2024 and now it has been made permanent. The state is the is the second-largest sporting betting marketplace in the United States. From September to November 2024, a total of about $1.3 billion was bet on football.
The ban largely covers the request of NFL that were made last year. The league was satisfied by the decision of Illinois Gaming Board.
