The Indiana Fever picked up a much-needed victory after three straight losses with an 85-76 victory over the Washington Mystics in Indianapolis.

Fever, who had been without the injured point guard Caitlin Clark for the previous two matches due to a quad injury, had lost to Washington in Baltimore last week and at home to the Connecticut Sun two days later.

Emergency signing Aari McDonald was drafted in afterwards due to Clark's continued absence and injuries to guards Sydney Colson and Sophie Cunningham in the Connecticut match.

McDonald played a vital role in Fever바카라s victory, contributing seven points, five assists and three steals in 27 minutes.

Colson was able to take part, registering seven points and three assists in 16 minutes, with the victory leaving them in third place in the Eastern Conference.

Fever coach Stephanie White praised the contribution of her new signing.

Regarding McDonald바카라s performance, White said: 바카라Not everyone can do that. That바카라s a point guard mindset.바카라

바카라I thought she did a great job. She's hungry, No. 1. And No. 2, she knows how to play. And she's just a dog on defense; we needed that.바카라

White also believed the performance from her side was their best since the season opener against the Chicago Sky, which saw them win 93-58.

She said: 바카라Outside of Game 1, it was the most consistent we've played throughout the course of 40 minutes.바카라

바카라Twenty-one assists on 30 made field goals ... that's how we have to play in order for us to be successful. We've got to get that ball moving.바카라

Indiana Fever now travel to face Chicago Sky at the weekend.
