Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians won the title in the maiden season by beating Delhi Capitals.

In the WPL 2023, there were a total of five teams that played against each other in a double round-robin format, and the top three teams with the most number of points made the playoffs of the tournament.

The trend will continue in the 2024 season as well and with the five teams releasing their players ahead of the auction, it remains to be seen which player will garner the most number of eyeballs and the moolah in Mumbai come December 9.
