The much-awaited Housefull 5 has finally dropped, featuring a star-studded cast led by Akshay Kumar. The fifth instalment in the comedy franchise, was unveiled on Tuesday, May 27, at an event in Mumbai in presence of the cast.
Set on a cruise, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and more. It is a combination of murder mystery and horror comedy that will take you on a adventurous ride and tickle your funny bones.
The 3-minute, 53 seconds trailer opens with a voiceover by Nana Patekar, saying that a billionaire Ranjit Dobriyal is celebrating his 100th birthday on a luxurious yacht and he wants to announce his will in an alphabetical order. Then we see actor Ranjeet along with other cast who are apparently his children. He announces Jolly as his heir. Then comes the twist when Riteish, Abhishek and Akshay claim to be 'Jolly'. Akshay Kumar calls himself the 'real Jolly' and the others his imposters.
The scene cuts to Akshay waking up just to realise that somebody spiked their drinks, and they can바카라™t remember anything about their lives. They are put behind bars in the ship after a murder. Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt step in to solve the mystery.

Housefull 5 will have two different endings, which will play in theatres at different times- making it an interesting watch.
It also stars Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
Housefull 5 is directed by Tarun Mansukhani, with Sajid Nadiadwala, serving as the writer and producer under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
As per Deadline, Sajid said, "I바카라™ve been thinking about the story of Housefull 5 and having two different climaxes for the last 30 years". He added he wanted to make a thriller, and the idea finally came to him 3바카라“4 years ago, after he finished writing Housefull 4. "I wrote the story and screenplay myself, and it바카라™s truly a dream come true," he said.
The filmmaker further said that the different shows of the film will have "all together different killers and climax". He called Housefull 5 a "true killer comedy."
