Nora Fatehi Reveals Filmmakers Casting Only 'Four Actresses': They Are Getting Projects Non-Stop

Nora Fatehi said that there are filmmakers who are not casting anyone but only 'four actresses' for their films. So, it's a challenge for her.

Nora Fatehi made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with 'Street Dancer 3D'. Later, she appeared in various films but was not seen doing lead roles. Nora either has less screen time in films or is either seen in dance numbers. In an interview, the diva revealed that her upcoming movies are of different genres and she has got to explore more.

Nora told News18 Showsha that it has been difficult for her to convince filmmakers because they didn't want to take a chance on her.

She said, 바카라�I don바카라�t think because I dance is why they don바카라�t want to cast me. Our main iconic heroines in Bollywood have been dancers who perform beautifully. And they excel in dance numbers, right? That was just a part of the package of being like an iconic heroine. I don바카라�t think it was because of that. I think it was always, oh, I don바카라�t know. It바카라�s almost like let바카라�s see who will take the chance on her [on me] and if she delivers in all the categories, meaning, the acting skills, the presence, the aura, the ability to express the language skill, then we바카라�ll all jump on the opportunity. So I think it was who would have got the balls to do it first, to take a chance on me first. I think that was what everyone was waiting for".

The 'O Saki Saki' fame actress without taking anyone's name said that it is just 바카라�four girls바카라� who are getting work. She also said that the industry has become very competitive today.

She added, "Let바카라�s be realistic. There are only a few films a year. And sometimes what happens with filmmakers is they don바카라�t think outside of what바카라�s in front of them. So if only four girls are doing films, and they바카라�re going in rotation, and all four are getting projects nonstop, the filmmakers will only remember those four, they won바카라�t think beyond that."

바카라�So your job is to try to intercept the four and become five and get into rotation and then that바카라�s just how the ball rolls. And yeah, I mean, it바카라�s hard work, but it바카라�s happening. And I바카라�m very grateful for that. I just have to prove myself, so I can stick around. That바카라�s the next challenge,'' shared the actress.
