The world of cinema and cricket is once again colliding. Superstar Rajinikanth is going to share the screen with former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in the upcoming film Lal Salaam. The actor took to social media to make the announcement. He posted a photo of himself with the former Indian skipper.

Rajinikanth plays 바카라Moideen Bhai바카라 in Lal Salaam which is directed by his daughter Aishwarya. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. The music has been composed by AR Rahman.
Rajinikanth was last seen in the 2021 Diwali release Annaatthe. He will be next seen in Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Jailer is scheduled to release on August 10, 2023. Meanwhile, Lal Salaam is aiming to release theatrically later this year.
