Tamil actor Arya has landed into trouble as there was an income tax raid at the actor's residence, which is a part of the investigation into financial irregularities related to a restaurant chain. As per a report in News18, income tax officials conducted surprise raids at Sea Shells restaurants in Chennai on June 18, morning. There were raids across various branches of the restaurant chain, including those in Anna Nagar and Velachery.
The restaurant chain is said to have a long association with Arya, and that's why it has grabbed public attention. In the Anna Nagar branch, more than five IT officers arrived in two vehicles and started the inspection at 8 am. Armed police were deployed for protection for the raid.
IT raid at Arya's house
As per reports, the IT department also conducted a raid at Arya바카라™s residence on Poonamallee High Road in Chennai. Reports claim that the popular Arabian restaurant was started by Arya, but he sold the chain years ago to a Kerala-based businessman named Kunhi Moosa from Thalassery.
Moosa바카라™s properties in Kerala were already under IT scrutiny, and it is said that the raids on the Arabian restaurant and Arya바카라™s house are linked to a broader investigation into the restaurant's financial transactions and ownership history.
