Rajinikanth starrer Coolie is one of the most-anticipated upcoming movies of the year. The makers has shared a new promo to begin the 100 days countdown. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie marks Rajinikanth's 171st film. The high-octane action entertainer will release in theatres on August 14.
On Tuesday, taking to their X handle, Sun Pictures shared a promo video of Coolie, in which we see a glimpse of Rajinikanth바카라s role. He can be seen looking at the sea. Other characters are introduced through over-the-shoulder shot.

Coolie cast
Alongside Rajinikanth, Coolie has a stellar ensemble cast featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao in significant roles. The Tamil movie also stars Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj in pivotal parts. Pooja Hegde will have a special dance number in it.
About Coolie
Coolie marks Rajinikanth and Lokesh's first collaboration. The Vikram director had earlier confirmed that the film will not be part of his popular film universe, Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which includes movies such as Kaithi, Vikram and Leo.
Rajinikanth is said to play the character named Deva.
Girish Gangadharan has done the cinematographer and Anbariv has taken care of the action choreography in the actioner. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Coolie OTT release
Coolie will reportedly stream in a major OTT giant. As per a report in Koimoi, the movie has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video, with a deal of Rs 120 crore. The same report also states that Rajinikanth바카라s Jailer was acquired by Prime Video for Rs 100 crore.
Apart from Coolie, Rajinikanth has Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. He is currently busy with the shoot of the upcoming action drama. The Thalaiva returns as 바카라Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian in the sequel.
