Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss the existing bilateral relations and reiterated their resolve to elevate the strategic partnership, PTI reported.
Sharif- who is on a four-nation tour to ally countries including Iran, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan - arrived in Turkey on a two-day visit, engaging in a delegation-level meeting on Sunday.

Sharif also thanked Turkey's President for the support during the India-Pakistan escalation earlier this month - after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 civilians were killed - all men.
India on Thursday called on Turkey to press Pakistan to halt its longstanding support for cross-border terrorism and dismantle the terror infrastructure operating from its territory. There have also been calls to boycott Turkey from India.
