The United States President on Friday claimed that India is prepared to drop all tariffs on goods imported from the US while asserting that his mediation led to the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Trump made the statement in lieu of an upcoming trade deal between India and the USA.
During an interview with Fox News, Trump claimed India to be 바카라one of the highest tariff nations in the world바카라 and he was in no rush to finalise the deal with India. 바카라They make it almost impossible to do business. Do you know that they바카라re willing to cut 100% of their tariffs for the United States?,바카라 he said.
Trump also added that everyone wants to make a deal with the United States and he cannot make deals with everyone. "South Korea wants to make a deal but I am not going to make deals with everybody. I am just going to set the limit. I will make some deals. Because I cannot, you cannot meet with that many people. I have got 150 countries that want to make deals," he claimed.
While speaking on the trade deal, India바카라s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar asserted that, "Nothing is decided till everything is. Any trade deal must be mutually beneficial; it should work for both nations."
The statements have come as India and the US are set to begin ministerial level meetings in Washington to assess and negotiate the proposed bilateral trade agreement.
