Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Thursday lost his temper at senior advocate and Supreme Court Bar Association President Vikas Singh and asked him to 바카라keep quiet바카라 and 바카라leave the court바카라 during a hearing on a petition by the lawyers바카라 body seeking land allotment of lawyers바카라 chambers.Â
CJI Chandrachud got into a heated argument with Singh who, listing the matter, apparently threatened to escalate it and even take it to 바카라your lordships바카라 residence바카라, reports said.
바카라Leave this court right now,바카라 CJI Chandrachud, furious, told the advocate and asked him to keep his voice down.
The CJI reminded Singh that the petition by the SC bar association demanded the conversion of land which was allotted to the Supreme Court. The matter had not been listed six times previously.
바카라You cannot expect the bench to be cowered down. I have been in this profession for 22 years. I have never been browbeaten by a member of the Bar, by a litigant, or by anyone else. And I will not let this happen in the final two years of my career... you can pursue your political agendas outside the court hall," the CJI said.
Senior Advocates Kapil Sibal and NK Kaul have apologised to the CJI on behalf of the bar, Bar and Bench reported.
