The  National Investigation Agency (NIA) has claimed to have arrested two men for harbouring the terrorists who carried out the attack in South Kashmir바카라s Pahalgam that killed 26 tourists and injured 16 others.

In a statement issued by the probe agency, it said that two men have been arrested for harbouring the militants who had carried out the attack that 바카라shook the world on April 22바카라 this year.

Heavily armed militants fired on the tourists in the Baisaran meadow, which is approachable through a steep climb, raising concerns over the security of the tourists at the picnic spot. Pahalgam is also a place where from Hindus undertake the pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine of Amarnath, high in the mountains. The yatra will start on July 3 and conclude on Raksha Bandhan on August 9.

Authorities have said that they have put in place proper security arrangements for the yatra and multi-tier security will be ensured during the annual pilgrimage.

According to the NIA, two men - Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar from Batkote, Pahalgam and Bashir Ahmad Jothar of Hill Park, Pahalgam - have also disclosed the identities of the 바카라three armed terrorists involved in the attack, and have also confirmed that they were Pakistani nationals affiliated to the proscribed terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).바카라

The NIA said that Parvaiz  had knowingly harboured the three armed militants at a seasonal dhok (hut) at Hill Park before the attack.

바카라The two men had provided food, shelter and logistical support to the terrorists, who had, on the fateful afternoon, selectively killed the tourists on the basis of their religious identity, making it one of the most gruesome terrorist attacks ever,바카라 the NIA said.

The probe agency further added that it has arrested the duo under section 19 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, and is further investigating the case RC-02/2025/NIA/JMU, registered after the attack. 바카라Further investigations in the case are continuing,바카라 it said.

Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had  announced a ₹20바카라lakh reward on information leading to the arrest of the three militants who were behind the attack. Days after the attack, the Anantnag police released the sketches of three militants, Adil Hussain Thoker, of Anantnag, Ali Bhai alias Talha Bhai and Hashim Musa alias Suleiman, who it said were behind the attack in Pahalgam.

The NIA took over the case from the Jammu and Kashmir Police at the Ministry of Home Affairs' (MHA) orders. The breakthrough came after the investigating agency had earlier asked people to share information on the attack. 바카라 The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has appealed to all tourists, visitors and local people who might have any more information, photographs or videos relating to the Pahalgam terror attack on tourists to immediately contact the agency. The agency has already taken possession of a sizeable number of photographs and videos showing various aspects of the attack and is examining the same. It has now decided to scale up its efforts even more intensely to ensure that no useful information or evidence is missed out in its investigation,바카라 the NIA said in a statement earlier.
