An explosion occurred in the Naushera village area under the Kambo police station in Amritsar on Tuesday. According to Punjab police, the person injured in the blast has died and was linked to the Babbar Khalsa terrorist group, ANI reported.

Citing Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) (Border Range) Satinder Singh, ANI reported that the person who was injured has died. He is a member of a terrorist organisation and he had come to retrieve the explosive consignment."
