The Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) announced on Wednesday that there will be no helicopter services for the pilgrims this year. The directive comes following an order by the Jammu and Kashmir government declaring the Amarnath yatra routes as a no fly zone between July 1 to August 10.
The decision came in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack that occurred on April 22 claiming 26 lives. The announcement was made through the SSAB website stating that, 바카라The competent authority has in its order dated June 16, 2025, declared all routes of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra, including both the Pahalgam and Baltal axes, as a 바카라no flying zone바카라 from July 1 to August 10, 2025. Consequently, helicopter services for pilgrim travel shall not be available in the yatra area during the Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY,) 2025.바카라
The directive further added that following the order from Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, the pilgrims should reach the cave shrine from both South Kashmir바카라s Pahalgam and North Kashmir바카라s Baltal routes on foot or by using ponies and palkis (palanquins).
The annual yatra which commences on July 3 will be the first yatra since the Pahalgam attack.
