A day after concluding his visit to the Badami Bagh Cantt in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Gujarat's Bhuj on Friday to meet with the Air Warriors.

He said that Bhuj's contribution to the Operation Sindoor has made all Indians proud, ANI reported.

He said that the fight against terrorism is not a matter of security, but a part of the National Defence Doctrine. ANI quoted his saying, "Together will uproot this proxy and hybrid warfare, as the Defence Minister I would like to reiterate this resolve...We are going ahead by following Lord Ram where he resolved to finish demonic powers."

He added that while "Lord Ram raised his arms and resolved to make this world demon-free, similarly, following the principles of Lord Ram, we have resolved to uproot terrorism."

He added that Pakistan will spend a large portion of the funds received from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on "terror infrastructure in its country," urging that IMF re-think funding to Pakistan, as per ANI.

The defence minister had visited Badami Bagh Cantonment in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.

Relating to that, he mentioned he met the army personnel in northern India yesterday and, "today I am here in the western part of the country meeting the air warriors and other security personnel," ANI quoted the defence minister.

The defence minister stated that Pakistan is on probation, and strictest punishment will be given if Pakistan's behaviour does not improve.

"Operation Sindoor is not over yet. Whatever happened was just a trailer. When the right time comes, we will show the full picture to the world."

Singh mentioned that Indian Air Force assumed an impactful role in Operation Sindoor and it is being appreciated not only in India but across the world.

"On behalf of a grateful nation, I extend my gratitude to you once again."

He also thanked Air Chief Marshal AP Singh for his efforts, his entire team and all his jawans. "In this Operation, you not only dominated the enemies but also successfully decimated them," ANI reported.

"I want to raise question before whole world: are nuclear weapons safe in hands of Pakistan, a rogue and irresponsible nation," ANI quoted him saying.

Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated rapidly after May 7 Operation Sindoor launched by India as a retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The ceasefire was announced on May 10 by U.S. President Donald Trump.
