A group of government officials was attacked in Jhansi by illegal sand miners who then fled with their tractors that had just been confiscated. The incident took place on July 18 in the Mau Ranipur area during a crackdown on illegal mining operations.

Ajay Yadav, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), said he and the two other officials, Mahendra Singh and Kamlesh, halted the tractors near Kachnev village when they were assaulted.

According to a PTI report, the accused, including the tractor drivers, misbehaved with the officials before forcibly taking back their vehicles, which were loaded with illegally mined sand.

Following the incident, a formal complaint was filed with Katera Police by a member of the SDM바카라™s security staff. Police have since identified two suspects, Sohit Yadav and Ankit Yadav, who were allegedly with several unidentified individuals.

A case has been registered with charges including assault and interrupting a public servant from performing their duty. Police confirmed that an investigation is underway to find the others responsible.
