Jack Draper is through to the quarter-finals at Queen바카라s after overcoming a tough challenge from Alexei Popyrin.

The 23-year-old prevailed 3-6 6-2 7-6 (7-5) to progress to the last eight, in which he will play either Brandon Nakashima or fellow Brit Daniel Evans.

Popyrin broke Draper바카라s serve late in the first set before securing the lead in the next game.

Draper adapted to the fast conditions quickly and fought back in the second, clinching break points in back-to-back games to level the match.

Both players won their service games before the tiebreaker, but Draper did fail to convert two match points beforehand.

He did not live to regret it, though, as he won five of the last six points to take the victory.

바카라There's days where I need that extra support, today was one of them,바카라 an appreciative Draper told the Queen's crowd.

바카라Tough match and credit to Alexei, it was a bit up and down but you guys helped me through that so thank you.

바카라I think he's gone to the beer tent but my grandad is here! My family and friends are here and I love being at home and playing in front of them so it's an emotional moment for me honestly.

바카라I still need some time to adjust to grass, but I'm feeling better every time I get through these matches. One more under the belt and I'll be back on Friday.바카라

Roberto Bautista Agut defeated eighth-seed Jakub Mensik in the earlier last-16 clash.

The 37-year-old won 3-6 6-3 7-5 to set up a clash against Holger Rune or Mackenzie McDonald.

Data Debrief: Third time lucky for Draper?

Draper has now reached the last eight at Queen바카라s for the third time from four appearances, while he holds a 2-0 career record against Popyrin.

He lost in the quarter-finals in both the 2021 and 2024 editions of the competition, but will hope to go at least one step further this time around as he hunts a second Tour-level title on grass.

Draper is now 27-7 for the season, with only two players 바카라 Carlos Alcaraz (38-5) and Alexander Zverev (33-12) 바카라 having won more matches on the ATP Tour this year. Should he make the semi-finals at Queen's, then he will be seeded in the top four at Wimbledon.
