Kashvee Gautam started the bowling attack for India Women, with Chamari Athapaththu and Hasini Perera at the crease for Sri Lanka Women.

Indian bowler Kashvee Gautam was looking for a breakthrough, but Hasini Perera responded with a powerful shot.

Gautam delivered a full ball, and Perera shuffled across, using her bottom hand to heave it across the line. The ball raced to the boundary despite a valiant effort from the deep backward square leg fielder, who ran across and dived to her right, but couldn바카라™t prevent the four.

Nallapureddy Charani fires one in as Hasini Perera goes for the reverse-sweep but misses completely. The ball zips past the off-stump and evades the keeper too, who fails to get behind it. It races away to the boundary for four byes.

Sneh Rana tossed it up just outside off, and Harshitha Madavi nudged it softly towards cover before setting off for a risky single. A moment of hesitation followed as her partner changed her mind and sent her back. Harshitha struggled to turn around, and Jemimah Rodrigues pounced, firing a sharp throw near the stumps. Richa Ghosh did the rest behind the wickets, completing a clean run-out.

Sneh Rana pitched it a little too full, inviting Kavisha Dilhari to come forward. Dilhari accepted the invitation, leaning into the shot and chipping it gracefully over mid-on. The ball raced away to the boundary for a lovely four.

Sneh Rana delivered a beauty to Anushka Sanjeewani, beating her on the inside edge. The off-break spun sharply back, bursting through the bat-pad gap as Sanjeewani pressed forward. It could have easily shattered the off-stump.

Kashvee Gautam pitched it up outside off, and Anushka Sanjeewani was quick to pounce. Leaning into the shot, she drove it firmly over mid-off, clearing the leaping fielder with ease. The ball raced away to the boundary for a confident four.

Arundhati Reddy delivered a back-of-a-length ball just outside off. Achini Kulasuriya flat-batted it straight back to the bowler, creating a chance. However, Arundhati couldn't hold onto it as she stretched her right hand across, and the ball slipped through her fingers.

Madara drove the ball over extra cover and set off for a risky third run. A delayed call to send her back saw the throw come in weak, but Richa Ghosh was quick to break the stumps, leaving Madara short of her ground despite a desperate dive. Sri Lanka lose their 9th wicket. Madara run out (Richa Ghosh) 2(2).

Sri Lanka will be disappointed with their total of 147, as several players got starts but failed to convert. Hasini Perera top-scored with 30, but the hosts couldn바카라™t build partnerships.

India바카라™s spinners, led by Sneh Rana with three wickets, along with two wickets each from Nallapureddy Charani and Deepti Sharma, did the bulk of the damage. Two run-outs added to Sri Lanka바카라™s woes. While India's fielding wasn바카라™t flawless, a couple of missed chances didn바카라™t cost them. With this modest total, India will be confident in their chase.

This is chase time now, with an easy-looking target for India. Pratika Rawal and Mandhana are at the crease, with Rawal on strike. Malki Madara opens the attack.

A wide delivery, and Rawal waits on the back foot, driving it behind backward point for a boundary. No chance for the third man to cut it off.

Smriti Mandhana made it look effortless as she smashed another boundary. Kavisha Dilhari delivered a loopy, low full toss, and Mandhana drove it uppishly to the left of the diving bowler. The ball raced past mid-on, who had no chance to stop it, as Mandhana's timing kept the scoreboard ticking.

Inoka Ranaweera strikes in her first over, sending Smriti Mandhana back to the dugout. Mandhana, on 43 from 46 balls with six boundaries, tried to drive a full delivery over the top but couldn't get the necessary elevation. Ranaweera, quick to react, took an overhead catch to dismiss the Indian opener.

Harleen leans into a fuller-length delivery outside off, but the ball sneaks under her bat, trickling to backward point for no run.

Next ball, Badalge strays too straight on the pads, and Harleen gently paddles it away, picking up two runs as a fielder dives in front of the ropes to keep the boundary at bay.

Inoka Ranaweera delivers a beautifully flighted ball outside off. Harleen Deol, with a delicate touch, opens the face of the bat and guides it gently to the off-side, keeping the ball well away from danger.

India started their Women's Tri-Series campaign with a commanding nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka. After restricting the hosts to 147, Smriti Mandhana's fiery start, combined with composed knocks from Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol, guided India to a comfortable victory. Rawal바카라™s unbeaten 95-run partnership with Deol sealed the chase with ease.
