Josh Inglis and Priyansh Arya scored brilliant fifties to help the Kings cross the target of 185 with ease in just 18.3 overs.
Earlier, Shreyas Iyer had won the toss and opted to bowl first.

Multiple MI batters got starts but it was only the in-form Suryakumar Yadav who could score big. Yadav scored 57 off 39 before getting out on the last ball. He also became the first batter with 14 straight 25-plus scores in T20 cricket through this half-century. Yadav's fifty and small contributions from others took MI to 184/7.
For PBKS, Arshdeep Singh bowled a superb last over where he gave away just three runs and picked up two wickets. Marco Jansen and Vijaykumar Vyshak also picked up a couple of wickets while Harpreet Brar accounted for Rohit Sharma's dismissal.
PBKS were off to a slow start with Prabhsimran struggling to time the ball but once he departed in the fifth over to Jasprit Bumrah, the Kings took off.
Josh Inglis joined Priyansh Arya in the middle and the duo launched a stunnning counter-attack to which the Indians had no answers to. Arya and Inglis stitched a 109-run partnership off just 59 balls. Arya scored 62 off 35 while Inglis fired his maiden IPL half-century and got out for 73 off 42.
Captain Iyer finished the game with a six off Trent Boult with nine balls left in the contest.
The win confirms a top two finish for PBKS while MI will stay at the fourth place. One of Gujarat Titans or Royal Challengers Bengaluru will join PBKS in Qualifier 1.
