Zimbabwe Women Set For Historic Tour Of USA-W For Limited-Over Series

Zimbabwe Women바카라s national cricket team is set to embark on a groundbreaking tour to the United States of America, marking their first-ever bilateral series on American soil. (More Cricket News)

The landmark limited-overs series, scheduled from April 25 to May 3, will see Zimbabwe take on USA Women in three T20 Internationals and two One-Day Internationals at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas.

The two sides will kick things off with the T20I leg, with matches lined up for April 25, 27, and 29, followed by ODIs on May 1 and 3. The tour represents a significant milestone in Zimbabwe Women바카라s cricket journey and is part of Zimbabwe Cricket바카라s (ZC) broader ambition to increase international exposure and experience for its players.

바카라This historic engagement comes as part of ZC바카라s unwavering commitment to increasing international playing opportunities for the Zimbabwe Women바카라s national team across both formats of the game,바카라 the board said in a statement.

The teams last met in October 2024 when USA Women toured Harare for a bilateral ODI series. Ahead of their departure, head coach Walter Chawaguta emphasized the importance of the USA tour in the team's development pathway.

바카라The US tour is a start to steady build-up towards the Ireland series in July which will give us a gauge in terms of where we are ahead of the FTP next year. It also kickstarts our journey towards the Africa qualifiers later this year,바카라 Chawaguta said.
